At Storriers we wont try and confuse you with technical jargon, we tell you straight and if any additional work is found and needs doing, you tell us whether you want us to do it or go elsewhere. If you choose us we will confirm a price before anything is done.

DP Storrier Ltd was first established in 1968 by Alex MacDonald and 3 of his colleagues from Rice brothers, Oxted. The garage was run very successfully, building up an extensive and loyal customer base. Jai Acharya became the new owner of DP Storrier Ltd on the retirement of Alex “Mac” MacDonald in April 2010. He now runs the business with the same long-serving and trusted team of mechanics who worked so hard for Alex.

Jai started working on cars at an early age helping his father, a fully trained Mercedes Benz technician. He worked at Bradshaw Webb Mercedes dealership, Chelsea before deciding to take a degree in Computer Aided Engineering. Having successfully completed his degree he decided to return to his roots in the motor industry. Since then he has run two local garages before becoming the owner of DP Storrier Ltd.

Over the years Jai has serviced and restored classic cars amongst them a Mercedes 300 SL Gull Wing and Roadster, a Jaguar XK120 and E Type. This work led to him competing in a number of prestigious international classic car rallies as both co-driver and mechanic.
